Joshua A. Levy handles a wide variety of civil and criminal litigation matters. Prior to joining Stein, Mitchell and Mezines as a partner, Mr. Levy served as counsel to the U.S. Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, where he investigated governmental failures preparing for and responding to Hurricane Katrina. He also served as counsel to U.S. Senator Charles E. Schumer of New York.

Mr. Levy practiced in the litigation and national security groups at Arnold & Porter LLP in Washington, DC. He served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Joan A. Lenard, U.S. District Court Judge for the Southern District of Florida, in Miami.
 

Mr. Levy is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and New York. He received his B.A. from Columbia College, Columbia University in 1994, his Masters in International Affairs from the School of International and Public Affairs, Columbia University in 1999, and his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 1999. He was editor-in-chief of the Michigan Journal of International Law.  Mr. Levy is teaching a trial practice course entitled, "Working with Expert Witnesses," at Georgetown Law.
