Prior to joining Stein, Mitchell & Mezines, Ms. Dent was a member of King & Spalding's Special Matters & Governmental Investigations Practice Group. While at King & Spalding, Ms. Dent represented pharmaceutical companies and their corporate officers in a variety of civil and criminal matters, including internal corporate investigations, grand jury investigations, and civil appellate cases. She briefed constitutional issues -- in both civil and criminal cases — for Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company and numerous other corporate clients. Ms. Dent also represented clients in investigations by the Office of Independent Counsel.
