| Richard A. Bussey has been representing plaintiffs in personal injury
cases in the Washington, DC metropolitan area for 25 years. He has extensive experience in
tort litigation in the courts of the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia. Mr.
Bussey has successfully handled hundreds of cases involving virtually all types of torts
including motor vehicle negligence, premises liability, products l iability, and

Mr. Bussey
was born in Cleveland, Ohio on December 16, 1950. He graduated summa cum laude from Ohio
University with a B.S. in Journalisim in 1972. Mr. Bussey wrote broadcast and print
advertising in Cleveland, Ohio and Boston, Massachusetts for two years before deciding to
pursue a career in the law. He graduated cum laude from Wake Forest University with a J.D.
in 1977.
Mr. Bussey is a member of the Georgia (1978), District of Columbia (1978), Virginia
(1980), and Maryland (1981) Bars, the American Bar Association and the Association of
Trial Lawyers of America. |
