Bruce J. Klores, Of Counsel with Stein Mitchell Cipollone Beato & Missner LLP, has been a trial lawyer for over 30 years and has won hundreds of millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements for his clients nationwide. He represents victims of fraud, professional and medical negligence, and other serious wrongdoing. He advocates for his clients in front of multiple government agencies and bodies. He has also prosecuted high-stakes commercial claims arising out of a wide variety of business transactions and contracts.
Mr. Klores is one of a handful of attorneys in the nation who has experience handling medical malpractice claims on behalf of members of the military and their families. These claims are governed by unique federal laws, including the Federal Tort Claims Act and the Military Claims Act, and require specialized experience and knowledge. Mr. Klores obtained a $28 million dollar verdict for a military family in court, which after five years of appeals, was finally paid. He has also settled some of the largest cases under the Military Claims Act, which does not allow for litigation.
Previously, Mr. Klores was the founder of Bruce J. Klores & Associates which he opened in 1983. For the past three decades, he has worked tirelessly to revise and rewrite laws that affect his clients’ ability to pursue justice in the courtroom. He is a fellow of both the American College of Trial Lawyers and the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, invitation-only organizations that limit memberships to the top 1% of trial lawyers. Mr. Klores firmly believes that reputations are earned by hard work, discipline and integrity. As an attorney renowned for understanding what it takes to win, it is often former clients, physicians, other lawyers, judges and hospital risk managers that look to Mr. Klores to handle their complex business and legal challenges.
Mr. Klores is a frequent speaker, writer and instructor in the field of trial practice and medical malpractice litigation. He is a former adjunct professor of law at his alma mater, Catholic University. He also chairs the popular “Medicine for Lawyers” program and works closely with some of the finest physicians throughout the country in order to achieve the best result for his clients.
