Representation of Victims of Amtrak Crash
Stein Mitchell attorneys successfully represented multiple victims injured or killed when Amtrak’s Metroliner derailed in Philadelphia, due to the negligence of the train engineer and the failure of Amtrak to properly equip its train and rail lines with necessary safety equipment to prevent trains from traveling at unsafe speeds. A representative of the firm served on Plaintiff’s Steering Committee for that case. Our work produced fair compensation for our clients as part of a comprehensive settlement in the amount of $265 million.
