Representation of college student badly injured in bus crash

Stein Mitchell won a $20 million judgment against the federal government arising from the negligent operation of a Smithsonian Institute bus on the streets of Washington, D.C.  The bus ran a red light, striking and inflicting a severe brain injury upon the young man who was driving. The victory in court secured compensation sufficient to care for injured man for the rest of his life and was at the time to be the largest District of Columbia judgment in an injury case against the federal government.
