Senate Confirms Nomination of Stein Mitchell partner Edward Meyers as Judge on United States Court of Federal Claims

Stein Mitchell is proud to announce that ligation partner Edward Meyers has been confirmed by the Senate on September 22, 2020, as a judge for the United States Court of Federal Claims. He is currently awaiting his judicial commission. 

Meyers received his JD from Catholic University of America’s Columbus School of Law, with highest honors in 2005.  He served as a judicial law clerk for the Hon. Loren A. Smith of the Court of Federal Claims. Meyers joined Kirkland & Ellis, LLP, as an associate from 2006 to 2012. He has practiced at Stein Mitchell from 2012 through 2020, where he has served as counsel in a variety of cases including breach of contract, construction, credit and mortgage lending, consumer fraud, insurance coverage, civil RICO, shareholder litigation, securities claims, class actions, disputes involving state and federal agencies, including DOJ, SEC, DOD, FTC, and FDIC, and government contract matters, including contract claims and bid protest actions at the GAO and Court of Federal Claims.
