Stein Mitchell Represents The Simon Wiesenthal Center in Historic Investigation into Credit Suisse AG’s Maintaining Nazi-Linked Accounts into the 21st Century Leading to United States Senate Budget Committee Investigation

04.18.2023

Stein Mitchell together with our client, The Simon Wiesenthal Center, has led an international investigation into certain Swiss banks, including Credit Suisse, hiding Nazi and Nazi affiliated assets and accounts after the Second World War and as late as the turn of the 21st Century.   In this endeavor, Stein Mitchell assembled an internationally acclaimed team of subject matter experts, including Father Patrick Desbois, author of Holocaust by Bullets.  According to the Senate Budget Committee, the evidence “raise[s] new questions about the bank’s potential support for Nazis fleeing justice following World War II via so-called ‘Ratlines.’”  We are appreciative that Senators Whitehouse and Grassley and the United States Senate Budget Committee have demanded accountability from all who supported the Nazi regime during and after the Second World War.
