Stein Mitchell, other firms, file suit against Qatar Charity and Bank of Palestine for aiding and abetting Hamas terrorist attacks
On November 18, 2025, Stein Mitchell, along with co-counsel Osen LLC and MM~Law LLC, filed suit in federal court in the Southern District of New York against Qatar Charity and Bank of Palestine for those entities’ roles in aiding and abetting Hamas in multiple terrorist attacks. As detailed in the complaint, (1) Qatar Charity knowingly donated millions of dollars to Hamas to fund its operations, including known payments to suicide attackers, and (2) Bank of Palestine knowingly helped facilitate Qatar Charity’s financial support of Hamas. Stein Mitchell and its co-counsel filed this suit on behalf of plaintiffs Estate of Ezra Schwartz, Ruth Schwartz, Ari Schwartz, Mollie Schwartz, Hillel Schwartz, Elon Schwartz, Avi Schwartz, Michael Benzakein, Betty Benzakein, Ralph Benzakein, Jacques Benzakein, Sabrina Benzakein, Leah Benzakein, Jason Geller, Sandra Geller, Marc Geller, Jacqueline Geller, Estate of Eitam Henkin, Estate of Naama Henkin, Matan Henkin, and Eitam and Naama Henkin’s three minor children, N.Y.H., N.E.H., and I.Z.H. by their guardians Yoav Armoni and David Jackson.
